Summary of changes

The UEFA had published its „Return to Play Protocol”, which is obligatory to MLSZ national team events as well, when they are under the umbrella of UEFA organised in Hungary or abroad as well. According to the rules, all accredited persons having no negative COVID-19 test must fill an epidemiologic statement and their body temperature must be measured. We published the detailed rules in this document.

2.1 Circle of cases the data control refers to and the types of data

2.1 Entry into sports events

In order to prevent the spreading of COVID-19 virus UEFA set out the protective measures to be followed for international events in the Return to Play Protocol document (hereinafter: Protocol). 

In compliance with the Protocol for (accredited) tournament participants performing work with no access to the team zone, no SARS-CoV-2-RNS test is to be carried out prior to the tournament.

However, these persons have to fill out the Epidemiology Statement as per the Protocol, and their body temperature will be measured upon entry.

MLSZ will handle the following personal details after filling out the Epidemiology Statement:

During this process MLSZ will handle the following personal details after filling out the statements: 

  • name and date of birth of the person or its legal representative making the statement, and also their signature;
  • name, address and signature of the witnesses on the statement. 

3. Duration of data management 

MLSZ will delete these data after the end of the event.

4. Purpose of data processing

The purpose of data processing is to minimize the possibility of virus infections during sporting events. 

5. Addressees of data and their categories

MLSZ uses closed data management.

6. Personal data sources

Data is provided by the relevant person or its employer/principal to MLSZ.

7. Legal basis for data processing

The legal basis for data processing is the Regulation Article 6 (1) f), MLSZ has legitimate interest to be able to certify compliance with UEFA a Return to Play Protocol regulations.
